"You're Too Young to Have Parkinson's?!"

 Moonlight Productions/James A. Donnelly in conjunction with The Young Parkinson's Society in Chicago produced a Public Service announcements for television....in order to create an awareness that there are thousands of young adults in the United States and thousands more throughout the world who are living with Parkinson's disease. Michael J. Fox is being  treated for the Parkinson's.

  •  Parkinson's disease (PD) is a degenerative neurological disorder of the brain related to a depletion of a neurotransmitter called dopamine. PD strikes people of all ages and ethnic groups.

  • The average of a diagnosis is 60. However, 10-20% of persons with PD develop it before the age of 50. About half of these are diagnosed before the age of 40.
